Shannon McArdle, Huey, Jacob Kynard

+Shannon McArdle- has been around a time or two. She made the move from Athens, GA to NYC with her band, The Mendoza Line, in 1998. Following the dissolution of her marriage and hence, the band, Shannon dusted herself off to release a series of solo records, with a new one well on the way. She entreats the pleasure of your company, alongside her outrageously talented band mates and longtime collaborators, Bob van Pelt, Tom Gavin, Win Lockwood, and Jeff Olson.

+Huey- Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga.,  Huey’s songwriting roots deeply in southern folk and rock music. Since playing in various groups for the past 8 years, most notably her own full band "Huey & The Heaven-sent",  she has become a household name in the Atlanta music scene. "[She] brings some diversity to what people perceive southern music to be" says Atwood Magazine, following up the release of their Record "How to Keep Things Alive". Heart-clenching and poignant lyrics, married with vocal stylings reminiscent of Dlores O'riordan, Huey's songwriting is brutally honest. With songs like " Potential Missed" and " Losing me", she showcases her ability to write catchy songs without losing their substance. A bit of that Nashville twag with an aftertaste of 90's style--she's carved out a slice of the genre that sounds like nobody else. Today, she marks her greatest inspirations in writing to be artists like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Nick Drake, Adrianne Lenker, and (if we’re talkin’ Southern folk-rock) of course, the Indigo Girls.

+Jacob Kynard- from Pine Hill, AL has spent a few years driving around playing songs in backyards, bars, churches, nursing homes, and vape stores. He’s recording a debut album at Dial Back Sound in Water Valley, MS produced by Matt Patton (Drive-By Truckers) and featuring John Smith (Dexateens) on lead guitar. He's hoping that you'll give it a listen and you've got a spare bed or soft piece of floor for the night.

Beinn, Green Lady, Lamacchia, Kai Mark

+Beinn- is a Gaelic word that can either be a mountain or high hill, which can be used in reference to someone who takes the high road or someone who holds their head high and maintains dignity, integrity and sincerity as they navigate this cold and dark world

+Green Lady- firmly rooted in early 70's British folk revival along with generous helpings of Alt Country and Classic Rock, rounded out by the electric guitar-scapes

+Lamacchia- is what we wish post-aughts music would have sounded like; layered with new-wave moodiness, and akin to Autolux, Massive Attack, Doves and Liars, to name a few.

+Kai Mark- is an exploration of catharsis through song, endured and then captured by songwriter Bryan Louie (The Twin, Joshua Fit For Battle)

Pete Galub, Jo Williamson, Clara Kennedy

Pete Galub (Tape Hiss, The Silos, The Human Hearts) has put together an afternoon of music with top-notch performers.  Pete himself will sing many of his psych/pop originals. Some have been featured in the films of Hal Hartley.

Jo Williamson pens and sings songs. She has released many fine albums, including "Be The Man" which was produced by Martha Wainwright..She sings out once a month to fight her darkness.  Clara Kennedy might be more known as a virtuoso cellist. She sings and plays wonderful fingerstyle guitar. Pete has great taste, and doesn't do this too much, so don't miss this fine afternoon of music!
