Psychic Lines, The Zolephants, Deep Brain

+Deep Brain- Caring trio. Just trying to help.

Arklight, Short Porch, Woodhead
+Arklight- Experimental rock band from Queens. Punk energy, haunting atmospherics, and metallic noise incursions perched atop a throbbing, tribal rhythmic base.
+Short Porch- Dark, lyrical storytelling over Crazy Horse meets garage soul grooves. Murder ballads for thinking fellers.
+Woodhead- Woodhead combines no-wave, post-punk, avant-garde improv, beautiful feedback and ballads creating a texture not quite like anything you've ever heard.

Nuclear Family Fantasy, Viennetta, Tiers la Familia
+Nuclear Family Fantasy - explores the impact of growing up with the illusion that the nuclear family is still the ideal. Their songs convey the struggles with addiction and mental health that sometimes result from being expected to continue believing in the attainability of the American Dream.
+Viennetta- NYC trio of 2 Joans and a JB. We write songs about among other things, communication or lack thereof, lustful longing, procrastination, getting in your own way, being in your head, and feeling out of your mind.
+Tiers la Familia- started life on cassette with releases of punk beat tapes by bandleader Sef Sidney before developing into an experimental pop group that has played live now since 2023. Augmented by Jeff Tobias (Modern Nature, Sunwatchers) and Cheryl Kingan (75 Dollar Bill Little Big Band, The Scene Is Now), TLF plays frequently in Brooklyn and Queens where they turn Sidney’s songwriting into a singularly weirdo party-vibe.

Drummers Can Achieve, The Lookout Honeys, The Planes
+Drummers Can Achieve- sling upbeat power pop and shoegaze songs that poke fun at the randomness, heartbreak, joy, and absurdity of modern life. This indie rock quartet crafts high-energy, toe-tapping ditties about the pets that own us, cities that change shape, skinwalkers passing as people, and the plight of mammals creating art from inside the belly of a capitalistic beast.
+The Planes- are a four-piece indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Since their founding in 2010 by guitarist/singer Stephen Perry, they’ve earned a reputation for writing catchy indie rock jams, showing up to gigs on time, and taking that last drink ticket off your hands, y’know, if you’re not going to use it anyway and it would just go to waste.
+The Lookout Honeys- una banda punk femenina, have played three short tours in Latin America, as well as an overabundance of shows while traveling through the states near their hometown of Brooklyn. This all-female group is bursting with hot-rodding riffs and snarling vocals, hearkening back to classic dark punk.

Bouquets
Duets with the BQE
+Sanday Ewen- prepared guitar
+Spirit Vexation- Harsh and introspective, Spirit Vexation performances are anti-music rituals of antipathy and sonic misery, influenced by organized religion, ethnic crime film, bygone internet culture, and repurposed scrap metal. Emphasizing towering volume and emotive agony, this style of noise is particularly minimal in its reduction of sound to sheer bone-rattling texture. It brings you closer to God.
+Little Black Egg- Georgia Hubley (Yo La Tengo) solo guitar (?)

+Tom Hamilton & Peter Zummo- Continuing their 30-year world tour across the electro-acoustic divide, TOM HAMILTON (electronics, modifiers) and PETER ZUMMO (trombone, special transformers) celebrate their Mama Tried debut with a cross-examination of their transprovisational attitude. Neither on the verge of exhausting their beat-thing metaphor, nor willing to squander their resources on a second CD, the duo eschews the popular notion of including a gratuitous "guest artist" in order to enhance their singular vision of a greener planet. "An uncommon instrumental pairing, these seasoned downtown improvisors form an unusually stimulating duo" -- The Wire
