Babe the Blue OX has been making music in Brooklyn since they set up shop in an attic in Williamsburg in 1991. A constant fixture on the Lower East Side, the band made records with Homestead and RCA Records in the 1990s. Babe began playing only bar mitzvahs and wakes through the early 2000s, but returned to recording and playing regular live shows after The Great Recession. They've just finished recording their sixth album to be released later in 2023. Babe is Eddie Gormley, Hanna Fox, Tim Thomas and Rose Thomson.
