+Bull Thieves- Originally formed in NYC in 2009 by three Texas ex-pats, Bull Thieves took a 14-year break and reformed in 2025, with author Lance Scott Walker (DJ Screw: A Life In Slow Revolution, Houston Rap Tapes) joined by artist Joan LeMay (Quantum Criminals, Friends Of The Devil) and drummer Liana Katz. They play a noisy grade of indie rock that descends from Texas punk and country threaded with shoegaze and the rap/jazz/funk/R&B back catalogues that inform their other artistic pursuits. In August 2026, they released their sophomore album Rattlesnake & Swan.
+The Broken Robots- Heavily improvised psychedelic jazz rock drives vocalist Dan Jachym’s search for the profound in the profane, mundane, and insane. From SF to NYC to the outer reaches of the heart, the Broken Robots have been warping the expectations of audiences for over a decade and a half. Influences from Zappa, Waits, Talking Heads, Nick Cave, Charles Bukowski, and the Buddha, as well as the giants of jazz.
