+Rat Henry - NYC's enigmatic troubadour mixes electronics, 80s industrial beats and acoustic guitar to bring a maudlin tale.  His newest LP, Material Pop Volume One on Minimum Table Stacks, mixes the 80s New Zealand vibes of Tall Dwarfs/Scorched Earth Policy with end-times electronics of Throbbing Gristle.  HUGELY surprising!
